Since childhood, Dr N R Ichaporia hashad a brilliant academic record with several distinctions and awards to his credit.He has been instrumental in starting Neuro Intensive care as a speciality within the city of Pune which continues to benifit thousands of patients even today.

Today he has done over 1000 thrombolysis and has setup the primary stroke care unit within the city which may be a rare accomplishment in itself. He is Ex. president of Neurology Society of Pune and Maharashtra Academy of Neurologists.
Currently, Dr Nasli R Ichaporia is an active member of the Indian Stroke Association and Organizing president of STROKECON 2012 & the Stroke school. Both were highly acclaimed by Stroke enthusiasts.
His other passionate interest is treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and other Demyelinating disease of the nervous system.
He was recently awarded the "Health Icon" by the Times of India group. He was a Hon.Rotarian and is a intrepid traveller, sports enthusiast, photographer, environmentalist and anthropologist. He is an avid public speaker & has delivered a large no of lectures to students, doctors & the lay public on various neurological topics.He has trained a large no of students ,who are now all over the world.
